Our momma had Intramedullary nail surgery (screws and a rod to fix the femur) Wednesday and her CT scan yesterday showed movement in the screw. The CT scan was done to see where she was losing blood and when they reviewed it they found the movement in the screw in the top of the ball. This was not the news we were expecting to get but everything happens for a reason. She will be going into surgery this morning and doing a partial or a total hip replacement and plate.
