Gerstner style tool box plans - The Hobby-Machinist
2017年7月6日 · BUT THAT BOX IS $2300 NOW. I know I will never own one before I die now. So I thought about looking for plans to make one but can't find any, even to buy. Does anyone have plans for a Gerstner style tool box. I used to do wood working as a hobby and building one would not be a problem.

2014年12月27日 · For a ready made box, you can't beat this one for the money. They make it in oak also but they were on back order. The box is heavy, it weighs 40 pounds. I think I can be happy with this box, but I still want to build one.

2011年2月7日 · I have been in the process of trying to make my own, based on the o42 model from gerstner. I also have a harbor freight wooden chest, and there are others like gun cleaning cysts that I have eyed, but just opted to try and carry through. Yours is beautiful! What wood species? 2017年7月6日 · I've been playing in the shop, with hopes of building a (piece of art) tool box. I've used up two 12" by 7 foot by 9/16 boards, cut up into various components. Everything's cut out but the drawer backs and sides. ( using 3/8 basswood for them). I spent yesterday dry assembling the front panel and back of the box. Here's the first picture.

Looking for drawings for a Toolbox | The Hobby-Machinist
2021年6月21日 · A Gerstener box (he said) about 12-14" cube. The top several drawers were very shallow, maybe 5/8" high. Bottom drawer about 1-1/4" high. It was at a pen show, holding pen repair tools. I would like to build one as a future gift for wife. I will custom draw one up if I can get some good pictures. Plans - dimensions would be better.

2013年2月7日 · Yesterday I made a box out of a maple tree that I had cut into some boards and dried. My tool box had center drills piled haphazardly so decided to use the box just for center drills. I put the largest stuff on the bottom and made a tray for the medium sized stuff and added a flip out assembly in the cover for the smaller stuff.
