2017年8月1日 · Hi r/musictheory, I'm looking for some "pop" songs (anything not classical or jazz) with complicated chord progressions that sound incomprehensible at first but then start to make sense by the third or fourth listen. For example, something like "Summer Soft" by Stevie Wonder or "If I Keep My Heart out of Sight" by James Taylor.

It may not be the best song in the genre, but it's a pop song that is always shifting around in very small ways even if has some amount of repetition, all with the classic prog instrumentation, yet still remaining highly melodic and accessible.
