2020年3月12日 · To add a shortcut to the Desktop, close all Windows and open Start Menu, drag the Mail icon from Start menu list to the desktop. For Mail accounts that are problematic what often works is to go to Windows 10 Mail Settings (gear icon at bottom of Inbox) then Manage Accounts, then choose the problem account(s), then Delete the Account.

They only way I can seem to find it is to click a "mailto: link on a web page and it opens, but as soon as I close the webpage, the app is gone. No way to pull up an inbox to check email, and the mail (and calendar) apps are not listed in my start menu.

2020年3月27日 · After installing the latest version of Mail and Calendar and getting things working, I created a shortcut for the desktop. That worked fine for a couple of hours until I had to do a Restart. When the desktop came up, the icon for the Mail app had changed to the default icon (the blank sheet of paper) from the envelope with the blue background.
