Having trouble installing Kinect V.2 to Windows 10 PC
May 16, 2020 · I am trying to re-purpose my Kinect V.2 as a web camera for my PC. I purchased an adapter and attempted to set it up. Now I did erroneously plug in the kinect prior to downloading the software, so hopefully that didn't cause my issues. Since, I have downloaded and installed the software needed and have the kinect studio 2.0 and the SDK Browser 2.0.

Aug 27, 2020 · Kinect V2 *only* working in Kinect Studio v2.0 With all the distance learning stuff, i figured my old kinect would work great as a 1080p webcam for Zoom sessions. Issue is, it refuses to send any kind of visual data to apps beyond the applications included in the kinect SDK.

Dec 16, 2024 · SDK v2.0 Config Viewer are all checkmarks except USB controller for 3.0 - Unknown USB 3.0 port detected. Your USB config may support kinect for Windows. I cannot get this to stop power cycling, it cycles about every 10 secs. Its not plugged into a 3.0 port. If I do it doesnt turn on at all.
