2020年8月27日 · Honestly, the way Construct 2 and Construct 3 are layed out and how you use them is mostly the same. The main benefit of C3 (in my opinion) is that you run it in a browser, so you can access your projects on different PCs in different locations. Also, C2 is no longer supported with updates. So C3 is definitely the better option :)

My project's scope does not fit with the Free version of Construct 2/3's limitations and - as of this moment - I'm a bit tight for cash with Christmas coming up and cannot afford the subscription. 2022年8月18日 · Although it's no longer supported, I think Construct 2 is still okay. It has strengths and weaknesses, just like any other engine, and it particularly excels at prototypes, game jam games, and small arcadey things. You can always migrate a project to C3 in the future, if you need to make use of more up-to-date features.

2014年6月19日 · Construct 2 is much simpler but it also seems less capable and has a notable lack of successfully produced games (on steam at least). No word on any sort of Sales % in the user agreement (apart from a 5000 usd sales limit on the personal edition) If anyone has any pros or cons they feel may help in this decision please weigh in
