Slack is about to die - Windows 7 access completely cut off
If you’re using a Windows, Mac, or Linux OS that has reached end of support, you’ll still be able to access Slack as long as you’re using a supported app version, but you won’t receive app updates. Slack won’t be available to download from the App Store, Microsoft Store, or Snap.

2022年9月9日 · If you want to go wild, or need to run a wider variety of software that isn't supported in 10.13, you can install Parallels with Windows 10 or some linux distro as a guest OS, and run it in there. Overkill for Slack, but not for e.g. MS Office or modern web browsers (once they stop supporting 10.13).

We use Slack as our primary internal comms platform. We only use Teams for video conferencing. If a decision was made to cut Slack and go all-in on Teams, there would probably be a riot. At my last company, it was a Slack and Zoom combo, and it was so good. Slack and Teams, by comparison, is a hot mess, and Slack isn't the problem.
