The first line of words and the next line are displayed at the same time, right over top of each other, instead of one above the other. This makes the first 5-10 words of every sentence illegible as it’s “under” the rest of the sentence, which is very inconvenient.

2020年11月16日 · They need better subtitles. My wife is an English learner and she would like Chinese subtitles. Netflix does a great job with simplified and traditional options for Chinese. HBO Max is the opposite. Also, I want more options for subtitle presentation i.e. Lowercase letters because my wife understands that better than all caps for the subtitles.
