I looked online but it’s a crap shoot so I figured I’d ask some real people. Im looking to buy an SUV and hopefully stay under $25k and 40k miles. I think im more flexible on the miles because seem to last longer nowadays.

2020年12月29日 · Yeah, for me, I own an SUV to do SUV things, towing, hauling kids and cargo, and because I enjoy the feeling of a bigger 4WD on longer highway commutes with snow and ice. I am not the kind of person that would buy a compact SUv but some of them were pretty good. The Bronco Sport was just plain fun.

There main issue for the mazda SUV’s is related to their usability rather than reliability, driving dynamics. Their SUV’s have really cramped 2nd row and almost unusable 3rd row. Even the new cx-90 which is the longest vehicle in its segment has less 3rd row space than its rivals.

The Highlander is the same platform as the Camry, with a chassis based on the size of the Avalon. I don't really consider it an SUV, it's a crossover car basically. I think of SUV's, true SUVs more like the 4-Runner, body on frame, and even as a lifetime owner of Jeeps, I think the best SUV you can buy is the Toyota 4-Runner.

These are new cars, most of these platforms except the GH have been out for some years now and the kinks have been worked out. As usual, the Toyota, Honda, and Subaru are the only ones worth buying new as they have the best resale value. The "Best" car depends on people's needs. Want resale value and likely longevity? Honda Pilot is probably the best all around SUV. Best driving dynamics with torque vectoring AWD. You’ll go places the Telluride won’t be able to and take curves like the Telluride will never be able to. Great space, quality, features and reliability. Would definitely recommend it over anything to else in the segment.
