Sailor Moon Crystal may be mostly accurate to the manga in terms of plot, but it's a bad adaptation. I grew up with the 90s anime, but then fell in love with the manga. Even through my bias, I can see that the manga has a shaky plot here and there, that the pace is fast, and that the senshi aren't that well-developed.

It’s just strange to me how a subreddit dedicated to Sailor Moon and loving Sailor Moon can be so spiteful for Crystal. The last episode of the 90’s version aired at the end of 2000, not including the reruns afterwards. Stars never aired on Toonami either. So some of us are beyond thrilled to have new sailor moon!
