Parts of Geauga, Cuyahoga and Lake counties are forecasted to see lake effect snow through Thursday, with more snow likely on the way this weekend.

Starting at 1 p.m. today, heavy lake effect snow is expected to start falling in Cayuga, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego counties, according to the National Weather Service. Lake effect snow is also forecast for Buffalo and areas south of the city.
