Unlike the past several seasons, frigid conditions in the north-central states and sweeping into the Midwest have pushed ducks and geese southward and into Louisiana fields, marshes and swamps.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries announced duck hunting season is approaching.
