How long should we allow to drive from Cody via Chief Joseph to the junction where Beartooth hwy starts? We're travelling in August and like to take photographs so would probably stop at all the vistas - is 1.5 hours enough time?

Many Thanks Di-Roth Yes we are then driving along Beartooth to Red Lodge. I was going to allow 4 hrs for this part, assuming 2 hours to drive and 2 for stops. Does this sound reasonable? It looks like there are 8 or so major stops, inc Clay Butte. We’re then off to Glacier NP, returning back via the Beartooth towards Yellowstone, so get to see it both ways!
