Chatfield State Park was very nice. Our site had fhu and plenty of room for a 42 ft 5th wheel and pickup. We were close to town for shopping and restaurants. Red Rocks was amazing. Navigator01420476763的完整评论

Is ther a fee for bicyclists to enter Chatfiled SP?

Hopefully there is a fee for anyone entering a Colorado State Park - they need the revenue. Colorado State Parks do not get tax revenue (dumb idea) for operations - it all comes from fees.

I believe that there are change machines in each rest room for the showers.
We are looking for place with good scenery to SUP during our visit in July. We’d like an area where we can spend a few hours paddling and exploring. We are staying near Denver/Littleton. Is chatfield a good option or should we look into another state park/lake?

Hello, yes! it is a great place with the mountains in the background. The park has been recently updated and there is a lot to do.
