We are heading to Djibuti tomorrow for a few days. Can anybody tell me what is the cheapest way of getting to Lake Assal? We are long term budget backpackers so are really just looking for transport to get there and back. Anybody have a guide on a taxi cost? Thank you in advance :)

Be wary of using this type service.. usual is a scam. Most hotels will aid in getting a tour with a respectable company.
I have only found one tourist agency, Djibouti Tour and Travel Agency, online but they are not responding to repeated requests for information. Can anyone provide me with an agency in Djibouti City that can provide tour information for visiting Lake Assal, Day Forest and other sights around Djibouti?
